工作职责：
1、在指导下支持研发的实验工作以及主机厂客户要求完成的项目相关的验证实验
2、遵守公司EHS及5S的政策和规定；履行《环境、职业健康与安全职责管理程序》中研发人员的个人EHS职责
3.、在培训后，能够独立完成不同OEM客户在项目开发阶段的注塑产品相关的实验, 比如环境老化测试，三坐标尺寸测试，以及机械性能测试。同时能阅读英文版本的主机厂的相关实验标准以及撰写英文报告。能有效地与Sekurit工厂的项目团队沟通并且满足客户要求
4、在上级的指导下，能够较好的完成粘结性能相关的实验验证和开发，并且在相关培训后，完全支持粘结相关的项目以及工艺改进的实验。能较好的进行研发实验，时间和实验室资源的协调和管理
5、在上级的指导下，能够支持有关客户投诉或者内部质量问题的分析测试，并且协助找到可能的根本原因以及改进方案
6、负责实验室设备的维护管理，5S以及可能的采购等日常事务

Objective of the Position:
Lead the Material Characterization team to ensure that high quality, cost competitive, and timely analytical characterizations are available to support the research, development, and manufacturing functions of the internal Business Research Group and Saint-Gobain Group. In addition, Identify & establish new characterization competencies required

Principal Accountabilities:
1/ Operational Management: Develop/monitor budgets, manage the activities of the organization, administer personnel policies, develop and coordinate operational goals of the service functions. Ensure that the function meets all budget/operational requirements.  Ensure the full utilization and development of staff.  Maximize operating efficiency of the service function.

4/  Competency Development: In technical activities of the material characterization function, particularly in identifying, developing and leading new competency, involve new technologies or apply existing technologies to support new R&D programs. Network with SG Plants (ex: Q.C. or Manf department) to understand and address their needs.

5/ Strictly follow company EHS&5S policies and regulations. Develop and drive a strong chemical management program to prevent chemical control non-compliances with EHS Supervisor. Investigate and provide practical solutions to the causes of non-compliances, if any. Correctly control and handle of recoverable solid and liquid wastes.

Qualification & Skills:
1/ Master or Ph.D, majoring material/chemical engineering. With at least 3 years working experiences in material characterizatio.

1> 5% Comply with the related EHS laws and SGRS policies; Be familiar with the MSDS, Risk Assessment approach; Have the common knowledge and sense for the manufacturing and machine operation, such as preventive maintenaince and LOTO, etc. Be familiar on the related SOP

2> Leader of grinding research projects:
 Lead the internal research project in CGTC:  Leading the key research projects in CGTC. Study the performance of the grinding system (Ceramic/resin abrasives, Metal work piece). Build up the testing method for the abrasive material. Manage the team member, budget, timeline and update the progress to the management level (50%)

3> Leader of external technical service projects:
Lead External project with external customers (OEM, End users, Application team, Product team，Marketing team):   Define projects related to Applicaton Engineering solution, develop proposals, and execute them together with suitable SGA （Saint-Goain Abrasives Shanghai Company) resources to achieve technical superiority over competitors and also establish credibility and collaboration with key customer. Providing technical support to SGA partners and customer in Asia Pacific(30%)

4>Develop application technology competence through self learning, participation in training programmes and through projects and in colleboration with other technology centers. Utilize such  knowledge in the training and development for application technology for R & D, PM, AE & SQM staff of SGA in Asia Pacific. （15%）

Job Requirements:
- Good understanding of the scientific research principles.Know how to define the problem, propose the hypothesis, use scientific methods to prove the hypothesis and solve the problems, design of experiment, data analysis and so on
- Mechanical background, Working expereince on manufaturing R&D enviroment is prefered.  Be familiar with the machine construction, mechanical transmission. And the machine diagnostics knowledge is preferred. Grinding technology is also preferred
- Understanding the principle of the measurement, such as how to select a good instrument for the variable which will be measured, what is the primary factor that must be paid attention on it during the measurement process
- Experiences on the virtual instrument, such as Labview or LabWindows, etc. Having the abilities to use these software to do the data sampling, and programming new software or interfaces based on them
- Basic programming is required, Excellent PC skills is required
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all level in English
