On November 16, 2017, the foundation ceremony of Saint-Gobain Gypsum Changxing plant has been held at Lijiaxiang Town Industrial Zone in Changxing, Zhejiang Province, 170 KMs from Shanghai. Paul Sheng, Saint-Gobain Construction Products Managing Director for China, Lou Qiuhong, Executive vice County Mayor of Changxing and other government officials have attended the foundation ceremony, together with our key customers, distributors and Saint-Gobain local teams. The construction of the plant marked a new milestone for Saint-Gobain Gypsum’s business in China, with both the total investment and the production capacity. With the registered capital of 15 million Euros, the construction of the new plaster line will be completed and start the production early 2019. The annual total capacity will reach 460 thousand tons of plaster products. As part of Saint-Gobain Gypsum China, Changxing Plant will keep providing comfortable, safe, environmental friendly and innovative indoor building system solutions for China market.
