Saint-Gobain Norseal® K series foam products, which developed and produced locally at Shanghai will be applied to Huawei new smart phone, including many applications such as screen seal, sound cavity seal, SIM card waterproofing, camera seal, mobile phone gasket etc. The unique values from the high performance small parts will help to enhance the overall performance of the Huawei smart phone and the user experience.
In 2019, Huawei smart phone shipments is expected to exceed 220 million units, Huawei will use Saint-Gobain foam above 140000 square meters in this project, more usage will be in the follow-up projects.
