Sunflower Fall Class is opening for 2 months. This is the second year of cooperation between SGRS Volunteer Club and Sunflower Public Service Organization, who provides services to improve educational and growing environment for migrant children.
Two colleagues from Saint-Gobain, Huang de from Modeling department in SGRS and Zhang Xiaohuan from Performance Plastics department, have experienced the responsibility of being a teacher and the fun of being with children. Combining the specialities of Research Center, we opened a class named “Popular Science”. Every Saturday, our volunteers go to Sun Flower to accompany children through teaching and answering various questions. We are making efforts to build migrant children into confident, optimistic, honest and generous citizens.
This program has been promoted widely within Saint-Gobain China and got active support from our employees. Hope that more people will participate in it in the future and let’s do something meaningful on weekends!
