Javier Gimeno, General Delegate for Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific, was invited by the Mayor of Jinan, Shandong province, to join Jinan Mayor’s International Economic Consultation Commission and assume the Executive President.
During his term, Javier promises to put forward to the Mayor Recommendations and suggestions which will contribute to the sustainable development of economy and society and coordinated development of people and nature in Jinan city, to introduces successful experience suiting for the city, to expand information channels and broaden mind for decision-making. Also, together with his committee, he will deepen understanding of international enterprises, industry organizations and institutes of the development and investment climates in Jinan, increase their awareness of Jinan and Shandong province, increase the attraction to investors and promote the exchange and cooperation between Jinan and international enterprises and relevant institutes, thereby constantly improving Jinan’s competitiveness, innovation and opening-up level.
