Javier GIMENO, Saint-Gobain Asia Pacific General Delegate has been awarded with the 2018 Magnolia Silver Medal.
Established in 1989, the Magnolia Medal is intended to acknowledge foreign citizens that, in the eyes of the Chinese authorities, “have made outstanding contributions to China and Shanghai's economic development, social progress and cultural exchanges.”
Together with other foreign representatives of the Industry, the Culture, the Education and the Research, Javier GIMENO was decorated in his double condition of General Delegate of Saint-Gobain and President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France in China.
"I am deeply honored and proud to be awarded with the Magnolia Silver Medal. This decoration truly recognizes the efforts of the Saint-Gobain Group in China all over the last 40 years, and more largely the dynamism of the French Business Community in China”.
