On December 4, Saint-Gobain China 2019 Patent Dinner was held in Shanghai. 24 inventors from 6 business units and their families were invited for acknowledging their contributions to the development of Saint-Gobain innovation. Armand Ajdari, VP of Saint-Gobain R&D, indicated in his speech that every Saint-Gobain inventor, from scientists in R&D to employees in front-line, is an important part of the innovation. It is their efforts that has made Saint-Gobain one of the Top 100 Global Innovators for 8 consecutive years. Javier Gimeno, Senior VP of Saint-Gobain and CEO of Saint-Gobain APAC, in his greeting video, emphasized the importance of Shanghai R&D center in the innovation development of Saint-Gobain APAC, and thanked the R&D researchers for their efforts in 2019, especially the patent inventors for their promising achievements. The top management of Saint-Gobain R&D and the management team of Saint-Gobain China business were also invited to express their congratulations and award the patent certificates to the inventors.
